Beliefs that Keep You Stuck

Beliefs that Keep You Stuck

I had a deep interchange this week with a friend who just started chemo treatments. She shared some amazing insights into how her cancer is allowing her to shift limiting beliefs. Her old belief about where deep love came from and her inability to access it has been blown apart as she’s experienced the outpouring of love and support since her diagnosis. She’s ben forced into a situation where she has no strength to refuse the generosity surrounding her (as many of us do daily: “oh, no thanks, that’s really nice, but you don’t have to do that.”) Her “must-do” these days, is to receive.

She happily and gracefully received a Reiki treatment from me—I proudly proclaim that it improved the way she was feeling that day 100%! FYI: soon I’ll offer a mid-year Reiki Program Sale for those of you who’ve thought longingly of receiving personal energetic support twice a week. Stay tuned!

My conversation with her led me to tune in to my own limiting beliefs. We all have them, and they are so close to us we no longer see them. Today I’m going to venture to say the heart of those beliefs that keep you stuck is encapsulated in your Life Lesson. If you’ve had a Life Purpose Hand Analysis from me, pull out the info I sent you home with, and see if you don’t agree.

Of the 3 main pieces of information you get from a Life Purpose Hand Analysis, (Life School, Life Lesson, and Life Purpose), your Life Lesson is the least sexy and holds the most power. When you learn to weave the “purpose energy” of the lesson into your life, you will have found your niche: the center of what you came here to Earth to do. But before you get there, you are probably stuck behind the beliefs that come with that particular Life Lesson.

I’ll use myself as an example.  My Life Lessons are around trust and intimacy, self-esteem, isolation from family and community, and failure. So what are the stickiest beliefs keeping me from stepping into the whole of my power and my purpose?

  1. I can’t trust myself (to make the right decisions, to know what is best for me.)
  2. It doesn’t really matter how much I try, I’ll never truly succeed.
  3. I’ll never amount to much (you fill in the reason – if this is one of your life lessons, you’ve got a whole list, just as I do!)
  4. I’m a misfit.

Of course, this combination of Life Lessons decrees that I will succeed when I truly trust myself and my community. And my niche, or the core of what I came to Earth to do, is to coach and inspire my community toward the success of living as who they really are.

Scientific Hand Analysis is truly elegant. The amazing insights your very own hands offer you can be scary because they are so bone-deep accurate.

Coach’s Challenge: What’s Your Life Lesson? If you have the information, get it out and study it. If you don’t yet, I’ll offer this special to you, my beloved reader: until June 11th I will offer Life Lesson Readings for only $97. To take advantage of this offer, go here. (You won’t learn your Life School or your Life Purpose, but Life Lesson information is HUGELY powerful.

Notice, this week, anytime you feel stuck or when your energy is cut-off or flat-lined. What were you thinking just before your energy dropped? THAT is one of the beliefs that keep you stuck! Hang in there. These are called Life Lessons for a reason.  Be very patient with yourself. Encourage yourself as you would an infant learning to crawl. As always, I invite you to share your journey by leaving a comment. (And if you do, check back, because I do respond to them!)
