Claim Your Confidence

Claim Your Confidence

I recently wrote a post about confidence—(here.)

That post’s focus is a new definition of confidence—a new way of living into it (also a way to claim your confidence.) But I had another thought I want to share, and it’s this:

Essentially, confidence is self-love.

It’s loving yourself as you are. Not as you want to become, but as you are. This means the time to claim your confidence is NOW.

No more waiting until you feel braver, bolder, more sure of yourself.

It’s time to love yourself with all your quakes and fears, all your weirdness and idiosyncrasies. Time to cheer yourself on for feeling reluctant, scared, terrified, convinced everyone will think you are (whatever), that they’ll all reject you and leave you all alone.

Why?

Because every confident soul feel this kind of unfounded fear somewhere inside. This is absolutely normal, even and especially for those choosing to “play big” in their lives.

Claim your confidence today!

Welcome to Confident! Welcome to a world that wants you! As you are now, as you will become… We want YOU!

Quaking, shaking, and yes—confident.

Did you know that the etymology of confidence is “with faith,” or “with full trust?”

You do not have to wait until you feel no fear to trust yourself fully, and to have faith that the Universe has your back. On the contrary. It actually works the opposite way—the more fully you give your trust to yourself, while having faith in the Universe’s desire for your highest good, the sooner those paralyzing fears will diminish.

Confidence first. Fearlessness comes later.

Coach’s Challenge: Act as if, this week, as if you were 100% confident. Then notice: Oh! I feel confident! It’s magic! Claim your confidence, and leave me a comment—I love to hear back from you…
