How was Imagination IQ?

How was Imagination IQ?

I just returned from Scottsdale, Arizona, doing my “Energy Facilitator” thing, and you will want to know: How was Imagination IQ?

Awesome. Really. Imagine an intimate theater set from the 70’s – in the round, surrounded by orange and other-colored couches, each with throw pillows. But not saggy old couches like we would have used in the 70’s :>) Comfortable, elegant couches. Okay. So you had to be there. I wish you had been, so I could have shared it with you!

For my part: I led a self-love chant, a 3-part harmony jingle, guided meditations, mime games (that was super cool, I’ve never seen a room of grown-ups take to mime games so quickly – I truly knew I was among kindred souls!), and summoned the crowd to boogie down. A whole range of movin’ and shakin’ and breathing and being in order to assist everyone in flowing from one section of the event to the next.

I was not alone in this facilitation and creative role. There was a drama team and there was Fiz. Meet Fiz DeMattia: an amazing musician – rock and roll singer-songwriter (electric) guitarist who is paving a new way for musicians to collaborate with heart-centered entrepreneurs to reach people. I mean, who do young people really pay attention to? That’s right! Rock stars! So thank goodness for Fiz. Visit his website here or find him on Facebook here.

I loved hearing the 4 main presenters at Imagination IQ: Dan Fowler’s message about “The Gravity Well” and “The Dream Lodge” is so on track with what I teach about using your emotions and your imagination to regulate not just your daily contentment, but to bring about your dreams. I’ve personally experienced the amazing magic of Sabine Messner, wizard of Soul-Purpose Branding. She draws forth the soul-essence in her clients to use for effective and deeply authentic positioning and branding. Julia Mikk’s transformative “Breath of Love” work blew me away; an extraordinary tool for deep emotional release. And I was magnetized by Mirabel Jimenez’ message about how to roll out a “dream launch” as a service-entrepreneur; her system to produce monetary success every time.

These 4 richly talented experts rolled out an offer for a 6-month program that will transform your life and your work. Such amazing synergy, so much aliveness, desire for the highest good, and lack of personal ego competition – it is a phenomenal collaboration designed to break through many of the limitations in which the expert industry is currently caught. I was honored to be a part of the event unveiling their deep work.

My mother met me there – she and I had a blast. As usual, Mom impacted people with her curiosity, her playfulness, her desire to learn and grow, and her warmth. She gave me lots of room to move in (read sat on the other side of the room most of the time) because she didn’t want to crowd me. It just made it that much more fun to tell people she’s my mother.

My biggest “win” for the event, was relaxing, letting down, and just enjoying myself without constantly judging, worrying, trying to do better, more, etc. I loved meeting kindred souls, interesting people, and I had the best time dancing my heart out at the Imagination IQ party.

Coach’s Challenge: If you are in the School of Service, if you are a woman, or if you have any lesson or gift markings in the Venus zone of your hands, you probably have a challenge with fun. I mean you don’t naturally make it a part of your daily life. So this week, give up the perfectionism, let go of getting everything done, and savor at least three things everyday – preferably 10 things. As always share your insights, leave a comment!
