Love and Emotional Authenticity

Love and Emotional Authenticity

There are four Life Schools: Service, Wisdom, Love, and Peace. All of us relate to all the schools.  Those four qualities are a perfect formula for life! The Life School we are “enrolled” in, is the one we need the most work on.

70% of hands have fingerprints called “loops,” and belong to the School of Love.  It’s the most common print, and this school has the largest student body. Makes sense, right?

“What the world needs now, is love, sweet love…”

This fingerprint is associated with the element of water, and is all about emotions.

The School of Love is about deep connection, relationships, and emotional authenticity. Feeling the “love vibe” is like air for a School of Love Person. If it isn’t there, they’ll start to shrivel and die.  To be an “Honor Student” in the School of Love, you must feel and authentically express your emotions.

If you are bumbling along in the back of the class, you might not know how you really feel. You might be more aware of other people’s feelings than your own. You are definitely terrified of rejection, and likely to not say what you feel for fear of not being liked. FYI, this is one of my Life Schools, and I struggle with this every day.

The School of Love is associated with the heart chakra. This vital chakra is the doorway linking our lower and higher chakras.

No matter what your Life School, the heart chakra must be open for you to affectively manifest your desires.

The lower three chakras are all about survival, connection, creativity, sex, boundaries, self-care, and power. They are part of our physical, everyday lives.

The upper three chakras are about speaking your truth, expression, insight, intuition, clairvoyance, and connection to the Divine. One could say these energies are part of our “higher consciousness,” or the complexity that makes us thinking, expressive beings.

The two qualities, of the upper and lower chakras, connect through our heart. We need to feel – authentically and deeply, to connect our ideas with action, and to connect our actions with ethics, insight, and integrity. If you aren’t allowing yourself to feel, you may be acting outside of your integrity, not telling the truth, or you might feel cut off from inspiration.

Coach’s Challenge: Allow yourself to feel deeply this week. If you can’t do it every day, or all day long, make sure you do it at least once this week. Stick with the feeling, whatever it is, until it changes. This is the brilliance of feelings. They flow and change. Allowing yourself to feel is a necessary part of getting “unstuck,” especially if you are in the School of Love, but it applies to all of us.
