TLC 4 U!

TLC 4 U!

That’s the “hippest” headline you’ll ever get out of me!

Today I just want to encourage you to be your own best ally. Try this to reframe the way you talk to yourself: “If I were coaching myself, what would I say?” It’s a great way to access a voice of higher wisdom.

Along those lines, here are 5 tips for making your life really good on a daily basis. TLC 4 U!

  1. Stretch a little beyond your comfort zone – daily if possible, but at least once/week. It will keep you feeling good.
  2. Stop judging yourself. Instead of calling yourself names, or deciding you did something really _(whatever)_, just say “Oh, look at that! Isn’t that interesting?” This neutralizes your response, and allows you to add humor.
  3. Add humor. Laugh as much as possible.
  4. State your intention for the day when you wake up, and make it great! “Today I’ll feel fabulous, meet wonderful people with really cool opportunities for me, receive loads of abundance including cash, and I’ll get to revel in the glory of being alive.” Or “Today will be a day full of magic and miracles.”  (Design it so it makes you smile.)
  5. Remember that your thoughts (and feelings) create your experiences. Do whatever is necessary to maintain a feeling of inner peace and delight throughout the day. This way you are a gift to everyone you come into contact with!

I want you to grow, you want to grow — and that’s best done while really loving yourself, right now, exactly as you are. Start there. If that’s what you accomplish this lifetime, you’ve hit a home run!

Coach’s Challenge: What can you do to take extra special care of yourself this week? Take a walk somewhere beautiful? Get a facial? If you have animals, they’re modeling unconditional love for you every day. Take a page out of their book and wag your tail when you see yourself in the morning – or have a purr-fest! I’m being silly, but sometimes silly really helps shift old patterns. So – what will it be? What will you do for YOU? Leave a comment, share your journey!

P. S. Thank you ALL for your generous support throughout my participation in the NExt Great Visionary Business Contest. I did not end up placing in the top ten, but I was really proud to have gotten as far as I did. I learned a great deal, and have you to thank for it!
