Magic and Miracles

Magic and Miracles

Looking back, I notice I’ve opened the year with missives about struggle and Resistance. “Hey!” I say to myself, “What’s that all about?”  My path is to learn, and hopefully share, a different approach.  So I’m calling myself on my travails, and inviting us all to begin February with a different spin.

What is it that thrills me in the words magic and miracles? It’s the ease, and the joy they imply. It’s the gift of a wish fulfilled, and the amazement of getting to receive.

The School of Service has a recommended m.o.: “Ask, Listen, Act.” Ask the Divine, Listen to the response you get (through your intuition generally, although sometimes answers comes to you through the world – through a book, a person, a movie, whatever), then take action on what you received. (This in lieu of deciding on your course of action without checking in first).

The pitfall for the School of Service, for those with such rich potential for divine bliss, is to take action and take action and take action and suddenly be overworked and out of sorts. Ring a bell for anyone besides me? This looks like this: Ask. Listen. Act. Act. Act. Blow something up, collapse.

So here’s where starting with the intent for magic and miracles can provide an option. When you allow space for magic and miracles, you Ask, Listen, Act, and then ask and listen again. Check in with the Divine after you’ve taken action, before taking more action. Are you on track? Are the choices you are making serving the highest good? This is a window for receiving grace, and sometimes, magic and miracles.

By the way, if you are new to this newsletter, I work with Scientific Hand Analysis as a way to help my clients get focused in on who they really are. The School of Service is one of 4 Life Schools, the others being Peace, Love, and Wisdom.  I’ve linked these to past articles so you can read more if you want. Your Life School is the pool you swim in, so you want to learn to let it help you float!

What do magic and miracles look like? They have innumerable faces, but they always feel like a gift. Unexpected assistance. Sudden resolution. Magic and miracles lift your spirits and your heart.

Since our thoughts and intentions pave the way for the reality we experience, I say start each day asking for magic and miracles. And remember to stop and listen more often! You might hear angles singing!

Coach’s Challenge: This week, begin each day by saying “Thank you for this day of magic and miracles!” Then watch what happens. And check back in, leave a comment when you notice something new happening! And if you are ready for a regular practice of receiving, sign up for a month of receiving Remote Reiki from me. The year-long price has gone up, but you can still sign up for a month, 3, 6, or a year, here.
