Do you know what Dan Fowler has that I don’t? Yeah – OK. I walked straight into that one!
For real, though. I wanted to share why, as a person in my “flock,” you might find what he has to offer VERY helpful. Dan Fowler is the guy at the core of the upcoming event “Imagination IQ.” I interviewed him last week and sent it out — if you missed it, you can find it here. (I’ll be MC-ing).
I’ve been on a quest for my ideal life, and for “what I wanted to be when I grew up” ever since I stopped knowing and trusting who I really am –at around age 13. So in my early twenties, when I found the book by Barbara Sher, Wishcraft: How to Get What You Really Want, it became one of my favorite books. Wishcraft is divided into two sections: the dreaming, and the doing. I excelled at the first, and really loved it. I flunked out of the second, and quit mid-way through.
Some of us have cut ourselves off from our imaginations in the process of “living real life.” I excel at helping people open up those doorways for themselves – accessing that creativity, that spark of passionate inspiration. Others of us can imagine with ease, but are missing tools to successfully bring those visions into real life. So what are these secret tools that I’ve found so elusive?
Dan Fowler is going to be teaching those secrets at Imagination IQ. You can sign up here, and use my code: LINDY at check-out for a drastic rate reduction in tickets. It’s Thursday April 3-Sunday April 6. That’s coming right up, so it might fill the bill for a last-minute vacation. The venue is gorgeous, the people will be fabulous, and we’re just plain going to have fun! I’d love for you to come! If it feels like a stretch, it’s perfect for you. Break out of your box, and do it!
I’m really looking forward to learning to be an “imagination engineer,” as Dan promises. Of course I will bring back what I can, but there is nothing like learning straight from a master. That’s the BEST – my favorite way of learning.
Coach’s Challenge: Imagine how your life might change if you were comfortable not only delving into your dreams/ imagination, but with making those things a reality? What would change for you? What might become possible that currently seems out of reach? Life doesn’t change until you change. As Dan said at the end of our interview: “You don’t manifest what you want, you manifest who you are being.” So if you want something different, you will have to become — not someone different, exactly, but you will have to learn how to think and behave differently! Come find out what Dan Fowler has that I don’t. Come to Imagination IQ! I dare you!
