Something fun and super cool…
I’ll ’fess up—I love checking out what other creative, spiritual entrepreneurs are up to, and how they go about bringing people into their “flock.” I found somebody fabulous, so of course I want to share her with you. Strictly something fun!
Her name is Melissa Seaman; she is a Stanford-educated used-to-be lawyer, now an intuitive business coach. The quiz she has created to bring in new souls is superb. When you take it, you’ll learn your Soul Gift. Take the quiz for free here.
I took it, and found out I’m a “Transmitter,” which means I’m intuitive, sensitive, and creatively gifted. Certainly I identified with her descriptors—it was fascinating to learn that many Transmitters struggle with figuring out how to make money. (This has been a decades-long struggle for me.)
You see, Transmitters basically give their gift anytime, anywhere. Often it is through their presence alone that the people around them get energetically shifted. And it can be tough figuring out how to charge just for “being yourself!”
I learned that as energetic sponges, Transmitters need a lot of time alone to deal with (other people’s) energy, to reground and regroup. Some Transmitters even need to sleep alone. I also learned how key it is for Transmitters to educate those around them about who they really are.
In that vein, I’d like you to know that people who spend time around me consistently feel better about themselves. They move forward with more lightness, ease, and hope. They feel deeply seen, understood, appreciated, and acknowledged. This isn’t always from things I say. Often it’s just from being with me.
